Creativity with Electronic Sound

A creative life is a more fulfilled life. The vision for Creativity with Electronic Sound was to combine analysis and discussion of key tracks from the electronic repertoire, from Radigue to Kraftwerk, with opportunities to work with many of the machines used to create those tracks, all in an intimate workshop environment where the focus is on hands-on activity. This isn't a course on how to read software manuals or understand engineering specs. Instead, it treats synthesisers, drum machines, and processors as tools for artistic expression, focusing on the tactile vs the theoretical.

Although the program provides access to world class equipment, it's also designed to teach you foundational techniques that you can use on more widely-available gear, including free software. You'll also get suggestions for further reading — all based on open-source materials — as well as further listening.
